Help support FFA and veterinary students
The Industry Support Program, returning for its sixth year, is open to veterinarians, animal health suppliers and dealer customers. Partner with us to support students through FFA, the American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP) Foundation and the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) Foundation. Through April 30, 2014, a portion of funds from eligible purchases of Zoetis cattle and equine products will be directed to local FFA chapters and/or veterinary student scholarships on behalf of local veterinarians and animal health suppliers. Thanks to the generosity of our customers, the program has donated more than $5.9 million since 2008 to help support youth involved in agriculture and veterinary medicine.
FFA chapters and veterinary students continue to see and share the benefits each year from this support. Last year, the Canton, Pa., FFA chapter was one of 1,800 local FFA chapters to receive a donation from its local veterinary clinic, Troy Veterinary Clinic, through the cooperative efforts of the Zoetis program. The donation and support throughout the years has helped them maintain a successful agricultural program. For former veterinary student scholarship winner Megan Hays, VMD, who earned her degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, this industry assistance also reflects commitment to the future of veterinarians.
To help prepare young people for a future in American agriculture, join the more than 1,000 veterinarians, animal health suppliers and dealer customers from across the country who have participated in the program.
